'Voie verte...'( the green road)

This cycling route crosses the ‘Parc du Morvan’ from east to west and joins together the Departments of la Côte d'Or and la Nièvre.
Since 2014, the section between La Petite Verrière and Athez-Corcelles (part of the borough of Anost) has been finished.
The co-operating boroughs have created a cycling route that is good for tourist cyclists as well as mountain bikers. This section is around 70 km long, runs from east to west and makes use of the route of the former stop train between Autun and Château Chinon. At Autun the route uses existing bike paths to link with the 'voie vertes' of  La Côte d'Or.  Mountain bikers can indulge themselves as this section then connects with la ‘Grande Traversée du Morvan’.

Downhill mountain biking
This is fun! In the hills around 'Saint-Sébastien' (where you will find the famous 'Croix de la Libération' of Autun) three downhill tracks have been prepared in the most ecological way possible. Each track is around 1500 m long and suits several different levels of  skill so that all ages, trained or not  can enjoy them.

Mountainbike
In the close surroundings of Autun you will find more than 140 km of marked circuits. A great chance to discover Autun and its beautiful landscape exactly as you choose.  Departure for every circuit is at the 'base de loisirs Marcel Lucotte' close to the 'plan d'eau du Vallon' (the lake) in Autun.
You can also start from several other villages around Autun and
Vélorail
Cross the Morvan with the Vélorail  from Cordesse–Igornay (71) to Manlay (21)
